Time after time friends have told me about the small ”diner” with the anonymous facade and last week I finally got the chance to have a three course dinner with some of my best friends at this place.
The feeling is very relaxed and super friendly, the waiter sat down with us to explain each dish and what wine to combine it with.
The table was not set when we arrived a bit early so we had a glass of champagne and had no problem waiting in their hallway.
I had an horse tartar with foie gras dumplings and umami to start with and it was amazing. I would say the lobster starter was slightly sharper, but it is marginal.
The main dish: reindeer saddle with mushrooms, sage and parmesan. A delicious well weight dish combined with a Barolo wine – heaven!
The reason why I forgot to photograph every dish was because I was in such a nice company and great food. I guess that is a perfect combo and rating.
I love the unpretentious way they deliver delicious food and service. They also manage to maintain an extremely welcoming price tag. Highest recommendation and a new table reservation from me.
